LoveMyPets Guide & Support
Quick help for the current version of LoveMyPets. The guide can evolve independently from the app and older versions can remain available when LoveMyPets 4 arrives.

Choose a topic below for clear, step-by-step help using the current version of LoveMyPets.
Getting started
Start by creating a profile for your pet. LoveMyPets does not require a separate account, so you can begin organizing your pet's information right away.
1
Add your first pet
Tap the large + button on the Home screen to create your first pet profile.
Add and manage a pet
Create a profile for each pet and keep their photo, identification details and useful personal information together.
2
3
4
Add a photo
Tap the camera button to choose a photo from your library or take a new one.
Enter your pet's information
Add the details you want to keep, such as date of birth, name, nickname, breed, sterilization status, microchip and pedigree.
Save the profile
Tap Save when you're ready. You can return and update the information later.
Edit your pet later
Pet information is not permanent. Open the pet profile whenever you need to change the photo, name, nickname, breed, microchip or other saved details, then tap Save.
Your pet profile at a glance
After saving a pet, LoveMyPets shows a profile screen with the main information, the pet photo and quick actions.
From here you can review the saved details, open Edit Pet to change the profile, access Medical records to create a report or PDF, and use Angel Mode when needed.
Activities and reminders
LoveMyPets uses a very similar screen for both activities and reminders. Use an activity for something that already happened, and use a reminder for something you want to remember in the future.
You can start from the Home screen using the large + button. If you only have one pet, LoveMyPets can open the screen directly. If you have more than one pet, you can first choose which pet you want to use.

3
Choose the type
Tap the field on the right to select the type of activity you want to record.
Set the date and fill the details
Choose the date, then fill in the fields that appear for that activity type, such as weight, notes or other useful information.
Save the activity
Tap Save when you are done. The new activity will be added to your pet's history.
Select the right category
Choose the category that best matches what you want to save, for example weight, vaccine, parasite care, grooming, vet visit, medication, surgery, food, expenses and more.
LoveMyPets changes the fields automatically based on the selected category, so you only see the information that matters for that activity.
Example: record a completed activity
For an activity that has already happened, enter the real information you want to keep. In this example, the pet's weight and a note are saved together with the date.
This is useful for building a clear history that you can review later by pet and by category.

Choose a future date
For reminders, set a date in the future so the event is scheduled in advance.
Set the time for the notification
Choose the time you want to be notified and add a note if needed.
Save the reminder
When you save it, LoveMyPets will notify you on the selected day and at the selected time.
Review activities and reminders
Use the Activities tab to review what has already happened and the Reminder tab to see what is still coming up. Both views keep entries organized for the selected pet.
1
Browse completed activities
The Activities tab lists the entries already recorded for that pet, with the date and activity type clearly visible.
Open the filter
Tap the filter button at the bottom left when you want to focus on a specific type of activity.
Filter only what is actually in your history
The filter is dynamic: it only shows categories that are currently present in the list. For example, if your history contains only Weight, Visit and Surgery entries, those are the categories you can filter.
As you add new types of activities, the relevant filter options become available automatically.
See what is coming next
The Reminder tab shows future entries in chronological order and groups them by month, so upcoming medication, grooming, vaccines and other scheduled care are easy to scan.
Each reminder shows its type, date and time.
Open an entry for more details
Tap the ••• button on an activity to expand it. The card can then show the additional information you saved, such as a note, weight, price or other fields for that category.
Completed activities have two actions: Edit to change the saved details and Delete to remove the entry.
Manage reminders from the same card
Tap ••• on a reminder to see its saved details and three actions: Completed, Edit and Delete.
Completed marks the reminder as done and moves it to the completed Activities history. Edit lets you change the date, time or notes while keeping the original activity type. Delete removes the reminder.
Diary and memories
The Diary lets you keep a visual memory of everyday life with your pets. Save a photo for a day, add a mood, and look back at those moments later.
1
Add a new daily memory
Tap the large + button to create a new diary entry for the day.
Review, edit or remove a memory
Each saved day shows its date, photo and selected mood. Use the buttons on the card to edit or delete the memory when needed.
Share a special moment
Diary memories can also be shared directly from the diary view.

Choose the day
Select the date you want to remember.
Add a photo
Tap the camera button to choose or change the photo for that day.
Choose the mood
Pick the emoticon that best summarizes how the day went.
Save the memory
Tap Save to add the day to your diary.
Look back week by week
Switch to the Weekly view to see several diary memories together, grouped by week.
This gives you a quick visual overview of recent moments without opening each day individually.
iCloud and synchronization
LoveMyPets stores your data privately in your iCloud account and can keep supported information synchronized across devices that use the same Apple ID.
If information does not appear on another device, make sure you are signed in to iCloud and that iCloud access is enabled for LoveMyPets.
Widgets
LoveMyPets widgets let you keep useful information visible directly on your iPhone Home Screen without opening the app.
Keep the next reminder in sight
The large widget shows the next upcoming reminder together with the latest photo saved in the Diary.
LoveMyPets also includes a compact widget that focuses on the next reminder only, without the diary image.
Angel Mode
Angel Mode is intended only for a pet that has passed away. It lets you keep the pet's profile, memories and previously recorded history in LoveMyPets while removing future reminders that are no longer needed.
1
Activate Angel Mode only when appropriate
Open the pet profile and tap Angel Mode only when the pet has passed away.
Keep the memories and past history
Your previously recorded information and memories remain available so you can continue to look back at the pet's story.
Future reminders are removed
Any future reminders for that pet are deleted when Angel Mode is activated.
